Duet

- Diana, as you know, Abraham Russo and Kristina Orbakaite have already recorded several successful duet songs. Aren’t you afraid that people will compare you with Kristina?

- Cognition comes through comparison. I am not going to contest with such popular singing star like Kristina Orbakaite. I am only at the beginning of my signing career. As for the duet with Abraham Russo, I would like to demonstrate my potential and make an original show for the Kazakhstan listeners.

- And why have you chosen Abraham Russo to perform a duet?

- Because Abraham is a person of considerable talent. He has a charisma. I feel that Abraham is a kindred spirit. I am his fan. When Abraham went on tour in Almaty we met and he was glad to participate in our Project. Besides he is a handsome man.







- Abraham, is it the first offer from Kazakhstan singers to perform a duet?

- No. There were three offers before. But I refused each time. It’s very important for me that a performer has very good vocality. Those three singers had no such abilities. When I listened to Diana I understood that she had high potential and that she was not going to become a star with my help. So I agreed to take part in the project.

- To make the clip in New York was your condition, wasn’t it?

- It was not a condition, it was my suggestion. I have achieved certain status, so everything should be of high level. I do not want to hurt Kazakhstan clip makers’ feelings. I have never worked with them, so I do not simply know how they can work. I am absolutely sure in my American partners who I have worked with for a long time. They can guarantee both video and sound quality.

- What can you say about Kazakhstan?

- I like very much to go to Kazakhstan and do it very often. I have many friends here. Peace is the basis of Kazakhstan prosperity and well-being. People are well-wishing, girls are beautiful and mountains are majestic!
